Job Description
Our client, based in Scunthorpe, is looking for Class 1 Drivers - Trampers. This role is on a 5 on 2 off, Monday to Friday, and permanent. The work is for retail clients and involves the use of cages. Please only apply if you have at least 6 months of experience.
The rate of pay is £40,000 per annum, plus £25 per night out. Average of 48 hours per week, 5 on 2 off Monday to Friday - Various start times.
As a Class 1 Driver - Tramper you will be a vital part of the Dedicated Fleet team, delivering a high‑quality, reliable service to valued customers across the UK. The position involves a significant physical element, including loading and unloading of single‑deck trailers, opening and closing curtains, removing side boards, strapping and unstrapping, and occasionally using a pump truck or opening the roof. Will need to complete blank CMRs when there is no paperwork issued with the load.
