Trainee Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for trainee teaching assistants to work within Primary schools in the Ramsey area. The role will involve supporting children with additional needs on a small group or 1-1 basis. You will be required to assist children in accessing the work set by the class teacher, this will often involve working outside of the classroom environment and breaking tasks down to make them feel more acheivable. These children will often struggle with emotional regulation and need the support of an adult who is calm, reassuring and can help the child feel settled, safe and motivated. The successful candidate will have a positive mindset and be flexible and reliable in order to help ensure consistency for the pupils.
