Job Description
Join the City of Grants Pass as a Trail and Urban Forestry Specialist. Lead efforts to enhance urban forest and trail systems while engaging with the community in a meaningful way.
In this role, you will manage urban forestry initiatives and assess the health of community trees. Your responsibilities include maintaining trails, recommending suitable tree species, and overseeing urban forestry programs. Engage residents through outreach and volunteer activities, fostering a love for the green spaces in Grants Pass.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess tree health and safety within the urban area
• Advise on suitable street tree species selection
