Trading Operations Specialist

When a bank makes a trade (buying/selling currency, deposits, or derivatives), both sides need to confirm the details match — amount, rate, dates, etc. This role manages the team that:

• Sends out confirmation documents for trades the bank has done (Outbound)
• Checks and matches confirmations received from other banks/clients (Inbound)

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Manage a team that drafts and issues trade confirmations, and validates/matches incoming ones
• Make sure everything is done on time (per SLA and regulatory rules)
• Chase down and resolve any confirmations that are late, missing, or don't match (breaks)
• Assign work across the team based on volume and priority
• Personally step in on complex or high-risk trades
• Push for automation and process improvements to reduce manual work and errors
