Job Description
Summary
Coordinate activities and assist Manufacturing/Tooling Engineering department to facilitate the production of parts under the supervision of the tooling supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Satisfy tooling orders on a daily basis to support manufacturing and tooling department schedules including but not limited to, tool refurbishment and weld repair, unit tool deliveries, general tooling, and coordinating internal tool movement.
+ Develop and maintain department goals and projects as well as help improve department operational effectiveness.
+ Ability to proficiently use the inner shield wire welder.
+ Furnace knowledge of preheating and post-heating dies.
+ Ability to set up and use of automatic welding positioner.
+ Maintain welder cables & wire feed.
+ Must be able to read blueprints.
+ Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
