Responsibilities
- Mold engineering activities: participate in early product development with product engineers and estimators.
- Quote peripheral equipment and update quote list of equipment.
- Support tool build to resolve processing issues with tool suppliers.
- Audit tool supplier process definition prior to tool move.
- Owner of the bill of process for part process certification in the region.
- Owner of the bill of equipment for statement of work on IMM and peripheral equipment.
- Support new molding equipment installation and start‑up (hands‑on).
- Evaluate new projects/suppliers, release with purchasing.
- Define new technology.
- Support plant operation: troubleshoot, train new engineers/technicians as needed.
- Audit molding performance in NA facilities.
- Participate in product and tool design reviews, DFM, estimating process, ADP projects and global activities.
