Tooling Engineer

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Tooling Engineer located in Batu Kawan, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new metal stamping tools and jigs & fixtures for product assemblies.
• Test tools and fine‑tune them to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare and submit First Article Sample (FAI) samples.
• Repair, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot tools.
• Set up tools (progressive compound and stage) to ensure good performance.
• Perform set‑up inspection, first‑piece inspection, and subsequent inspections per standard inspection check‑sheet before submission to IPQA.
• Collaborate with IPQC on timely part qualification.
• Update preventive maintenance records and ensure maintenance is performed on schedule.
• Assist the production department with delivery commitments and provide technical support.
