Tool & Die Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure through failure analysis and execution of work plans.
• The optimal operation of the dies in order to guarantee the productivity of hot stamping parts as well as their quality, through the reduction of frequent failures and continuous improvement.
• Die and press parameter control training to maintain OEE.
• Ensure compliance with die repair work plans to deliver them on commitment dates.
• Manage die element plans at the visualization and dimensioning level under AutoCAD and CATIA programs. That allows the group leader to be given direction on the tasks performed in the workshop.
• Interpret manufacturing plans for die components and stamped parts. Management of GD&T tolerances and TZ that allows you to provide information to the workshop on part specifications.
