Overview

Tool and die maker responsible for inspecting final products, testing prototypes and production tools, instructing apprentices, positioning, securing, measuring and working metal stock or castings for machining, diagnosing and locating circuit, component and equipment faults. Requires experience in metal mould making, plastics pattern-making, jigs and fixtures.
