Job summary
The post holder is based within the corporate division as part of the Nursing and Patient Experience department and will be working closely with the Lead TVN and Harm Free Care Matron and other specialists to deliver high quality patient care with a specific focus on tissue viability across the trust. To support strategically and to influence the development of the service in line with national and local targets.
Main duties of the job
To be a clinical specialist in wound care working with multidisciplinary team to provide effective patient care in respect of wound prevention and management, providing expert advice, education/training for staff caring for the patients and quality improvement in tissue viability team services. To provide professional leadership and demonstration of competence in the assessment of pressure ulcer risk for patients and raise staff awareness on PU prevention.
