Role Summary
Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department, ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of all tires on site, performing preventative maintenance and operating light vehicles and tire manipulators as needed.
Responsibilities
- Inspects, measures, and replaces tires and rims on all mobile equipment on the mine site.
- Performs inspections of tires and wheel components.
- Operates light vehicles in the mine to assess reported tire problems on production and auxiliary equipment when necessary.
- Operates tire manipulator to change wheel/tire assemblies.
- Maintains records of all equipment, wheels or tires worked on, and highlights the nature of the repairs to wheels, ...
