**Job Title: TIG Welder**
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2 years of TIG welding experience in a custom fabrication environment.
+ Proven experience working with thin-gauge sheet metal, typically 16 to 14 gauge.
+ Ability to weld carbon steel and potentially stainless steel components.
+ Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret prints and layouts accurately.
+ Demonstrated ability to perform layout, tacking, and welding of seams with precision.
+ High level of proficiency using a tape measure and verifying dimensions accurately.
+ Hands-on experience in metal fabricating, including working with sheet metal and ductwork.
+ Solid overall welding experience, including prior MIG welding ability.
+ Comfort operating common fabrication tools such as press brakes, shears, grinders, rollers, saws, plasma cutters, drills, and related equipment.
+ Willingness and ability to work 11–12 hour shifts, typically starting at 5:00 a.m.
