Therapy Aide - Geriatric Rehab

Assist residents through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function. Support physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) activities as directed.

• Assist resident through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function.
• Assist PT and OT with activities for residents.
• Monitor treatment compliance and record developmental milestones or concerns.
• Set up equipment for therapy sessions and ensure the area is clean and safe.
• Observe and report resident progress or challenges to the occupational therapist.
• Support the occupational therapist during group therapy sessions.

• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or therapy
