Overview
A Test Engineer at MKS Instruments collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Product Development teams to design, develop, validate, and support automated test solutions that ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cost‑effective test methods, diagnostic programs, and test equipment for new and existing products.
- Create and maintain test fixtures, specifications, procedures, and validation plans to support new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness.
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, including labor, equipment, schedules, and resources required to evaluate standard and specialized products.
- Sustain manufacturing test systems by troubleshooting issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield and uptime.
