Test and Run Technician

Role Overview

Test and Run Technician (fixed term) – located in Tamworth. Working hours Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00 (42 hours per week).

Deliver basic electrical and functionality testing, servicing and cleaning of returned hire tools, plant and support equipment to ensure they are safe and presentable for customers.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical testing on 12/24 V equipment, mechanical checks, and use tools effectively. Ensure items meet safety and quality standards. Report defects and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24 V)
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Prior experience in the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
• Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy
