Job Description
Join Canada Post as a Temporary Letter Carrier in Timmins, Ontario. In this on-call role, you will deliver essential mail and packages to the community, making a meaningful impact.
This position will require physical stamina as you work outdoors while sorting and delivering mail. You will represent Canada Post and ensure timely delivery of services. Ideal candidates enjoy active work and have a passion for community service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort deliveries at the depot for the day’s route
• Load Canada Post vehicle for deliveries
• Deliver items by foot or vehicle to customers
• Unload incoming mail back at the depot
• Provide exceptional service with every delivery
Requirements:
• Class 5 or Class G driver's license required
• Clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years
• Physical capability to lift and carry mail regularly
• Must be able to work outside in any weather
• Must speak, read, and write in English or French
