Job Description
Serve your community with Canada Post as a Temporary Letter Carrier. This on-call position focuses on constant delivery of mail and parcels while ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Letter Carrier, you will sort and prepare daily mail, drive a postal vehicle, and deliver items under various weather conditions. You will also be responsible for unloading incoming deliveries back at the depot, contributing directly to local mail services. Prior customer service experience is highly valued in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare deliveries at Canada Post depot
• Drive postal vehicles responsibly and skillfully
• Deliver mail and parcels both on foot and in vehicles
• Return to the depot to unload incoming postal items
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles during deliveries
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license
• 3 years of safe driving record required
• Physical capability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
