Temporary Full-Time Operator/Loader (Waste)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager/Supervisor, Waste Collection and/or the Working Foreperson, the Operator/Loader is responsible for the collection of waste along an assigned route.

Responsibilities:

• Collect waste along an assigned route by loading waste and operating a waste collection vehicle, in conjunction with another operator/loader
• Work in accordance with City of Oshawa Safe Work Standards and the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Perform job functions of a Single Operator Loader as required and perform various duties related to
• Winter Control and/or Winter Call Board activities
• Support and demonstrate the City of Oshawa core values of Authenticity, Courage, and Trust
• Perform other related duties as assigned
