Embark on a temporary journey as an Environmental Planning Assistant for the City of Vernon. This full-time role focuses on environmental planning, regulations, and community outreach.
As a key team member under the General Manager of Planning, you'll perform technical planning duties that include reviewing environmental permit applications, interpreting regulations, and assisting in public educational initiatives. Your role will also involve managing land use applications and preparing reports for Council, all while ensuring compliance with zoning bylaws and environmental regulations.
