Position Overview

A temporary full‑time (1.0) Grade 7/Social Studies 9/English 9/Tag Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The assignment will be at Dr. Kearney Middle School.

Dr. Kearney Middle School is a vibrant middle school offering classes in grades 7–9. The school enrolls about 600 students, 25% of whom are of Indigenous descent. It is committed to student‑centered learning, collaborative planning, and a caring environment to provide quality education.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)
• Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach the identified subjects at the middle years level
