Performs electrical validation and fault isolation to products that failed test and finds the physical defects associated with the electrical failure. Documents and communicates findings related to failure to peers, line operators, and managers. Makes recommendations to modify equipment and/or processes to improve yield results. Performs setup of semiconductor processing equipment. Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and may prepare records, charts, and graphs of results to identify deviations from quality standards. Ensures continuous evaluation and improvement of standards and specifications, and acts as a role model for quality behavior through Stop the Job (STJ) efforts.
