Technology Programme Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a Technology Programme Manager to join our Business Change & PMO Team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a Hybrid working basis with 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

As Technology Programme Manager, you will take lead responsibility for supporting the daily delivery of Programmes across Council Directorates, ensuring successful implementation and impact management. You will coordinate a strategic portfolio working closely with DDAT and Business Change colleagues, including the DDAT Portfolio Manager, and may oversee 2 to 3 Project Managers or graduates.

You will work closely with Officers, Members, Partners, and senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure programme objectives are met. Tracking programme plans and risks and issues, facilitating risk and assurance sessions with senior leaders, and maintaining the PMO Framework and processes form integral parts of your role.
