Overview

We are looking for a structural drafting technician (or technicien-dessinatrice) in the Hydro & Dam Engineering Services unit at Atkins Réalis, to work on hydroelectric and dam projects in Montréal. We value diversity and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings (steel and concrete) in collaboration with engineers.
• Model 3‑D structures (steel and concrete) using Revit.
• Estimate and document quantities for proposed works.
• Verify drawings prepared by colleagues.
• Participate in review of shop drawings prepared by the contractor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in architectural drafting (DEP), civil engineering (DEC), or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in 3‑D modeling (e.g., Revit, Civil3D) – an asset.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
