Job Description

OVERVIEW
 :The Quality Lab Tech conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests of solid materials and liquids and analyzes test data. The Tech will also perform routine Quality Audits of the Quality System, Manufacturing Process, and Facility. Investigates non-conforming materials and issues Holds, provides support for disposition of Held materials. Reviews completed records for conformance to GMP documentation requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control.

Tests and analyzes materials used as ingredients in processes and products.

Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.

Documents results of tests and analyses on standardized forms, writes test reports, and prepares graphs and charts.

Performs routine quality inspections of the manufacturing facility.
