Job Description

Under general supervision, the Technical Publications Specialist researches, collects, and analyzes complex technical information from engineering drawings, system specifications, software documentation, test procedures, and subject matter experts. Uses this data to develop detailed operators, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures, checklists, technical specifications, alert bulletins, training materials, and other technical reports. May reference logistics data as needed to ensure technical content is accurate and complete.
This role applies structured authoring using the S1000D specification and CSDB workflows, incorporates controlled language standards such as ASD-STE100 Simplified Technical English, and ensures complia...
