- 8+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL database administration experience, including performance tuning, security hardening and PL/SQL scripting.
- 7+ years of performance tuning and query optimization experience using EXPLAIN/EXPLAIN ANALYZE, pg_stat_statements, auto_explain, pgBadger, Kubernetes-native monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), and pod-level resource analysis.
- 4+ years of experience collaborating closely with application developers to implement efficient database designs, indexing strategies, and query optimization, while also integrating CI/CD pipelines for database changes in Kubernetes environments.
- Skills in implementing HA/DR solutions using streaming replication, Patroni, and repmgr.
- Robust understanding of running PostgreSQL on containerized and cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes.
