Technical Instructor - Adult Nursing (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking

a dynamic and enthusiastic Technical Instructor (Adult Nursing) to join our Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician Team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for newly qualified or experienced nurses looking to transition into an educational environment.

You will play a key role in the delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based teaching, maintenance of high‑quality simulation equipment, and support of learners as they develop essential clinical competencies.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate clinical skills teaching and simulation-based activities across undergraduate and postgraduate health and social care programmes

Provide high-quality technical and instructional support to academic colleagues and learners

Demonstrate, prepare, and maintain specialist clinical and simulation equipment, ensuring it is safe and fully operational
