Interacts therapeutically with clients in one-to-one situations, community and group meetings.
Has a basic understanding of common psychiatric diagnoses.
Has professional boundaries with clients and demonstrates the ability to be an effective communicator.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a MHT working with children, adolescents and/or adults.
License/Certification: Not required.
Skills: Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
