Team Leader – Subsystems Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the members of the Subsystems Engineering team
• Estimate effort and budget for Subsystem Owners’ tasks
• Responsible for quality, consistency, and timely delivery of development activities
• Monitor budget status
• Responsible for operational stability and coordination of all Subsystem Owner activities
• Own and develop the subsystem knowledge management system
• Lead and support 8D problem-solving activities
• Responsible for correct definition of Subsystems DVP&R
• Act as first-level escalation owner for technical issues
• Report to various stakeholders such as the Department Leader and the Technical Core Team

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in internal combustion engines and powertrain engineering
