Job Description
Join the YMCA as a Team Leader for youth programs in Ajax, Pickering, Oshawa, and Whitby. Focus on creating exciting, safe, and inclusive after-school experiences for kids aged 4-14.
As a Team Leader with PlayON at the YMCA of Greater Toronto, you will guide instructors in developing, executing, and evaluating recreational programming tailored to youth needs. Collaboration with community leaders and adherence to YMCA standards will be essential in delivering high-quality educational experiences. This part-time contract role is available until June 2027, with a focus on afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and lead team of PlayON Instructors
• Develop curriculum to meet YMCA standards
• Ensure safe, engaging, and healthy activities
• Organize staff meetings and maintain program schedules
