Job Description

About the Role

  • Location: Darwen Transfer Station, Lower Eccelshill Road, Darwen, Lancashire, BB30RP.
  • Shift pattern of 4 on 4 off.
  • Required to operate mobile plant including loading shovel, 360, FLT


    • What will I be doing?

    This will involve:

  • Maintaining shift logs and providing daily feedback on performance to teams.
  • Carry out toolbox talks for safe systems and safety alerts.
  • Assist supervisors with weekly audits, action plans and oversee corrective actions.
  • Assist supervisors with employee inductions, briefings and training.
  • Assist supervisors with the day to day performance management of employees.
  • Ensure the segregation of all recyclable materials is maximised at the facility.
  • Promote an operating process that keeps focus on health and safety.
