About The Role
Level A – AUD 113,000 – 121,000 plus 17% Superannuation and annual leave loading. Fixed Term – 12 months (starting in January 2027). Full‑time (35 hours per week). The role reports to the Director of First Year Studies and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Teach first‑year physics courses, including lectures, laboratory sessions, online courses, and problem‑solving workshops.
- Contribute to professional development modules, depth‑study materials for high‑school teachers, and school excursions.
- Assist in creating and revising new course material.
- Maintain teaching resources such as lab manuals and Moodle sites.
- Develop and implement new experiments in liaison with the First Year Director.
