Teaching Assistant with 1:1 Responsibilities

Key roleswould include, but are not limited to:

• Promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain itsphilosophy of education
• Create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulatingenvironment which is conducive to children’s learning
• The ability to communicate effectively with parents on a regularbasis
• Liaise with class teachers, SENDCO and other professionals aboutindividual education plans/EHC plans
• Monitor pupils’ responses to the learning activities and, whereappropriate, modify or adapt the activities as agreed with the teacher toachieve the intended learning outcomes
• Establish productive working relationships with pupils,acting as a role model and setting high expectations
