Teaching Assistant

Overview

Skegness Grammar School is recruiting for a part‑time Teaching Assistant on a fixed‑term contract from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. The role supports the overall progress and development of our students and facilitates a rich curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that students have the materials they need to carry out set tasks.
• Maintaining a positive working atmosphere to ensure productivity.
• Dealing with immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Following school systems for achievement and behaviour issues related to lessons and recording electronically using the student management system.
• Collecting completed work after lessons and returning it to the teacher, if required.
• Assisting teaching staff in arranging classroom displays and materials.
