Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the exceptional SEN department at Rainham School for Girls. This post is for 29.75 hours per week, term time only, and will be paid at Scale 4 of the National Junior College (NJC) Scale, £26,403 – £28,142 (FTE) equating to £17,690 – £18,855 for this particular role.
Core Purpose and Responsibilities
To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. The role involves planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for small groups and individuals, monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting students’ achievement, progress and development.
