SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary (Tower Hamlets)


Start: ASAP
Pay: £98-£105 per day
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full‑time, ongoing


A welcoming secondary SEN department in Tower Hamlets is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with strong ASD experience and a background working in an SEN school or specialist provision.


Key duties:

  • Supporting students with autism and complex learning needs

  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group SEN support

  • Aiding engagement, communication, and independence

  • Assisting with differentiation and access to learning

    • You must have:

  • Strong SEN school experience (ASD essential)

  • Confident communication and behaviour support skills

  • A patient, proactive, and resilient approach
