SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school in Newham. The school is located a short walk from West Silvertown (DLR) station.
They are looking for an experienced and committed teaching assistant to join their wonderful school from September 2026.
As a teaching assistant in this position, you will work 1:1 with a male student in year. The students has a diagnosis of Autism and SEMH needs (social, emotional and mental health)
About you:
Will ideally be Team Teach trained
Will have experience supporting students with challenging behaviour and be able to implement positive behaviour routines
Show genuine care and concern for students' feelings and wellbeing
Be able to remain calm, composed and communicate effectively
Be able to use active listening and validate emotions
