Teaching Assistant

Llanishen High School is a school in the heart of a diverse community in North Cardiff.

We are a vibrant, inclusive and oversubscribed 11-18 community comprehensive school.

We have over 1,700 students on roll and pride ourselves on delivering outstanding outcomes for every student, supporting them to overcome any barriers that they might experience. 

When we state that we are fully inclusive, we really mean it!

Within our mainstream school we integrate a thriving unit for students with a Hearing Impairment and a thriving unit for students with Autism. 

We also offer extensive support for young people with a range of additional learning needs. They are members of our Learning Support Department, Flexible Learning Centre, Alternative Pathway Centre or Behaviour support provision.

Our Teaching Assistants are a highly valued team within our Learning Support Base.
