Job Description

A Teacher of Mathematics in 6th grade. This would include 3 groups of 23 students per class for a total of 16 sessions or instruction per week. The teacher would also be required to perform supervision duties and promote integrated projects.

The candidate would need to have knowledge of the following topics:

Physical Science topics include:

• Introduction to Matter
• Solids, liquids and gases
• Matter and Energy in Earth's Systems
• Electricity and magnetism

Math Topics Include:

• Multiplying fractions
• Division of fractions
• Division of fractions with fractions
• Division of mixed numbers
• Solve problems with rational numbers
• Add, subtract, and multiply decimals
• Divide whole numbers and decimals
• Multiply fractions
