Become a vital part of Salmo Elementary School as a Teacher Librarian (0.2 FTE). This role focuses on creating an inclusive learning space and promoting literacy among students.
As a term Teacher Librarian, you will oversee the Library Learning Commons, collaborate with teachers to improve literacy outcomes, and design programs to support inquiry and research skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building relationships within the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with educators to strengthen literacy instruction
• Design engaging programs that develop critical thinking skills
• Manage day-to-day library operations and services
