POSITION: Counsellor
ASSIGNMENT: Counselling - Elementary (K-7)
FTE: 1.0
LOCATION: District Administration Office
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2026 and continuing
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Secondary Education with a Master's Degree in Counselling
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience as an Elementary School Counsellor
A Reasonable Expectation: Based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.
