Overview
Reporting to the SVP, Taxation, the Tax Manager leads the Canadian tax compliance and tax reporting requirements of the Company and assists the SVP, Taxation with various tax planning projects.
This individual plays an integral role in leading, identifying and implementing best practices, and optimizing the corporation's tax structure.
As a member of the Company’s finance leadership team, the Tax Manager interacts with senior leadership to proactively identify tax opportunities and satisfactorily resolve prior years tax examination.
Deliverables
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all corporate tax returns in compliance with relevant Canadian tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required tax documentation.
- Manage the process for foreign affiliate reporting.
