Our client is multinational leader in the renewable energy industry. They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their team!
Tax Compliance
o Prepares schedules and working papers to support tax preparation, estimated tax payments, and extensions and utility taxes.
o Prepares certain Canadian tax returns.
Canada Green Tax Incentives
o Works with Development teams to analyze and understand the appropriate tax incentives for each project.
• o Produces all SAP accounting system reports for use in the preparation of tax expense, taxes due, income tax returns, VAT, excise taxes and others
o Ensures compliance with tax policies and procedures
• Analyzes and appropriately responds to notices from taxing authorities throughout Canada.
o Manages all Canadian tax audits in different jurisdictions
Other duties as assigned - Various special tax projects.
Fluency in French to effectively operate in a French speaking work environment.
