Job Description
Tanks Inspector required on contract bases for 12 months
Requirements
- API 653 & API 2350 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of API 650 and API 620 of 10 years in process piping inside battery limit inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
- Shall have thorough knowledge of API 653, NFPA guidelines, API 620, OGRA & Petroleum Rules and API 651 applicable to above-ground storage tanks.
- Capable of performing comprehensive internal and external inspection of storage tanks including floor, shell, geodesic roof and nozzles.
- Shall measure shell plate thickness using UT equipment and identify areas of corrosion, pitting, or lamination.
- Capable of inspecting tank roof structures including fixed roof, floating roof, pontoons, seals, vents, and drains.
- Shall witness hydrostatic water-fill testing of tanks and monitor and document settlement readings.
