• Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding tailoring and alteration services.
• Take accurate measurements and note customer preferences for garment alterations.
• Record customer orders, ensure proper labeling, and maintain order tracking systems.
• Assist tailors by organizing garments and preparing them for sewing or alterations.
• Ensure the tailoring shop is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, and manage the cash register.
• Inspect completed garments to ensure they meet customer requirements and shop quality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a tailoring shop or customer service role is a plus.
