- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report any changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other clinical procedures
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Collect laboratory specimens, including blood draws, and perform basic diagnostic tests
- Monitor blood glucose levels and administer insulin as ordered
- Initiate and monitor IV fluids (as per state scope of practice)
