MTS Systems Corporation is looking for a hands-on **Systems Engineering Technician** to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and checkout of complex mechanical and hydro-mechanical test systems. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys building, problem-solving, working from engineering documentation, and partnering closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Assemble and configure mechanical systems using engineering drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation
+ Perform system hook-up, tear down, rework, repair, checkout, and customer acceptance testing
+ Support operational testing to ensure systems meet MTS quality and performance standards
+ Troubleshoot system issues and partner with engineering to resolve performance or operational concerns
