SAIC is seeking a **Systems Engineer** to support the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Support Equipment (SE) team located in Lakehurst, NJ. The System Engineer would be responsible for requirements management of platform support equipment from requirements development through system design and testing.
**General Overview:**
+ Coordinate, integrate and assist in the management of technical efforts being performed to ensure that identified needs are transformed into effective and life-cycle optimized systems
+ Ensure compatibility of all functional and physical interfaces (internal and external)
+ Confirm that the system’s definition and design reflect the requirements for all systems elements (hardware, software, data, facilities, etc.)
+ Ensure that engineering efforts follow the Systems Engineering process tailored to minimize effort and schedule to deliver capability to the fleet
