**Overview**
**Nationwide Search - Incumbent can be located anywhere in the United States**
Seeking Surgeon or anesthesiologist with experience working in an Ambulatory Surgical Center or Office-Based Surgery setting.
The Ambulatory Care Surveyor- MD surveys ambulatory organizations throughout the United States within the full scope of the Joint Commission’s Ambulatory Programs. Applies systems analysis skills and inductive reasoning skills to determine ambulatory and imaging centers' degree of compliance with applicable standards and functionality of care delivery systems. Engages health care organization staff in interactive dialogues on standards-based issues in health care in to assess compliance and to identify opportunities for improving compliance. Prepares management reports that clearly link individual standards deficiencies with potential systems vulnerabilities and related organization risk points.
