Thoracic Surgery OpportunityLocation: Cooperstown, NYBoard Certified l Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery•Perform thoracic surgeries, including minimally invasive and complex procedures•Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the chest and thoracic cavity•Collaborate with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists on comprehensive treatment plans•Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care•Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs for medical students and General Surgery residents•Educate patients and families about treatment options and recovery processes•Use advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi robotic system•Call for thoracic patients shared with General Surgeons on nights and weekends•Participate in multi-disciplinary tumor board discussions and ACS CoC-accredited programsRequirements•Medical degree (MD or DO) from an ac...
